Birthday Variations

I challenged myself to make variations on this sentiment from the A•Muse|Studio "birthday greetings" stamp set. I love all the cute picture elements, but it's good to know you can pull a card together with just a phrase and some creative design. As you can see, paper flowers and buttons have quickly become my absolute favorite embellishments. Using my copic markers and the meadow mix of flowers, the possibilities are endless!

New Quilling Monogram

I had so much fun putting this together! I only wish I could have cut the flowers and inlaid the ones at the top. I think I know what everyone is getting for their birthdays this year.

Thanks to my good friend Sandy and the wonderful world of Pinterest I've found a great new application for my quilling. Now that I've finished the first one I've got some awesome new ideas for the next few. It was a surprisingly easy project. I had a lot of fun working on it. And I think I got it done in about 2 hours.
